He does take him up on the proffered bite of cake. It's not bad, but far too sweet. It makes him ache. He's far more content to kiss the rest of the syrup off of Wei Ying's lips, the heavy sweetness tempered by the wine of his mouth. He does, however, steal a morsel of fruit from the spread.
When he has had his fill of sampling (he samples about as much as he actually eats, which is surprisingly little given his frame), he starts on brushing through Wei Ying's hair with his fingers. "I would," he answers, but a moment has passed since that statement, so he clarifies: "marry you. Again, and again." He knows if they got to do this one more time, live this life again, he'd choose Wei Ying. In every situation, in every lifetime, he'd choose Wei Ying.
He rests a warm hand on his husband's cheek. "Every day, I love you more." He hadn't even known that was possible, but as his obsession calcified, it bloomed into something far deeper than that. He trusts Wei Ying. He honors Wei Ying. He wants, so badly, to increase his family with Wei Ying, and they can have a whole brood of children who take after him, who run through Cloud Recesses like wild things even when instructed to walk. Who bathe in the sun and skirt the rules and paint when they're supposed to be paying attention.
Wei Wuxian smiles into the sticky kiss, licking the sweetness from his lips after and laughing quietly to himself. It seems to strange to think how different things had once been, and how much they've changed now, that he and Lan Zhan could be together and happy and living this dream of a life together.
"I know better than to doubt that for even a second," he grins to hide his blush, shifting in his seat to more fully enjoy Lan Zhan running his fingers through his messy bed-head. He leans into the gesture, practically begging for head scritches as he tilts back to look at his husband.
He gives the head scratches that Wei Ying so desires, knowing his gestures in and out, giving into them almost like secondhand nature. The answer is truly that Wei Ying had been both arrogant and correct - that was what caught Lan Wangji's interest. And he'd been, more than that, brave and compassionate. He was the most selfless person that Lan Wangji knew, the most self-sacrificing. He was bold and brash and a firebrand, but he backed all that up with action.
He leans in for another kiss, and answers his husband's inquiry. "You just needed to be yourself, and wait for fate to bring you to me." Because there was not a world in which Lan Wangji would not have fallen madly in love with Wei Wuxian.
"I have another gift for you, once you are finished eating."

"How on earth did I get so lucky?"
